Founded in 1990, Fushu Daiko is South Florida’s premiere Japanese taiko drumming ensemble, dedicated to the performance, teaching, and preservation of the art of taiko.
Through a blend of traditional and contemporary taiko compositions, Fushu Daiko exhilarates audiences in theaters, at festivals, businesses, and schools with performances, workshops and edutainment.

We perform regularly at public and private events in venues ranging from small restaurants to grand auditoriums. Fushu Daiko also provides team building workshops for businesses, physical and mental health workshops, performances at schools, and private events.

Fushu Daiko’s mission is to engage, educate, and enrich the South Florida community through performances, community workshops, and classes at the South Florida Taiko Dojo. Our exciting performances integrate the resounding rhythms of taiko drums with dance and other traditional Japanese instruments.
